Users with Call Waiting

If you subscribe to call waiting, it must be blocked during Internet telephone calls. Because Internet access is obtained through a modem inside the Yap Jack, call waiting will not work as it does on a regular telephone call.
The feature to block call waiting must be activated.
To block call waiting, program the call wait block code obtained from your telephone company IN FRONT of the ISP access phone number. In the USA and Jamaica, the call block code is *70.

Example - To enter: *70 555-1234
Press: * 70 *** 555 1234 # (Note: You will hear the Voice Prompt announce “comma” 70 “comma” comma” comma” 555 1234)
Press: 3 (to save value after you have been prompted)

Call waiting will be disabled for the duration of any Yap Jack call that you make and restored for regular telephone calls after you hang up.
